Lemon Cream Protein Shake Recipe – Low Carb – Dairy Free

Some days would be perfect with a slice of lemon meringue pie if it weren’t for all those empty calories.  Surrender to your desire with a bright and nutritious lemon cream protein shake.  This is a refreshing recipe for lemon cream in a shaker bottle that won’t weigh you down.

Ingredients:

1 Cup Unsweetened Coconut Milk

Juice and Zest of Half a Lemon (Freshly Squeezed)

1 Scoop Vanilla Protein Powder ( Whey or Dairy Free Organic)

Sweetener to Taste

Directions:

Add Ingredients to your shaker bottle in the order they are listed.  Shake until smooth. Add ice as desired and enjoy.

Recipe Notes:

If you’re not eating dairy, make sure you used a dairy-free protein powder. You can sweeten your shake to your taste.  A good low carb option is Liquid Stevia. Vanilla flavored stevia would go great with this shake.
